My boyfriend and I came from out of town to watch a play. We were told by friends that there were no recommended restaurants on the East side. We came across Pita House, and it was exceptional. The chicken shwarma was flavorful and mouthwatering, and the toppings were just as delicious. If you are new to the area or just looking for a great meal, check out this place.

This is literally my favorite Mediterranean place in Columbus. I know there are other good places but everything here tastes amazing. My go to dish is their chicken shawarma platter with rice and Jerusalem salad. It comes with hummus, pita bread, and garlic sauce. Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. There is so much flavor in everything! Their pita bread is made fresh by a local bakery. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. My husband loves the Kafta kabob pita sandwich. It's loaded with fresh ingredients, the best pickles, and a delicious tzatziki sauce. The combo comes with fries and a can of soda. Their fries are really good too. I've spoken to the owner before. He is a super nice guy. His favorite dish is also the chicken shawarma platter. All of their staff are friendly and do a great job serving customers. 11 out of 10 from me!

Some of the best sides in the city. Hummus is outstanding, so is the eggplant salad. You can dress your falafel with anything you want, just like in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Excellent gyros too!

This spot consistently has the best chicken Schwarma I've ever had. The sauce is extra garlicky and the chicken perfectly seasoned. Their fries are outstanding as well and the prices are very reasonable. One of my favorite spots in Columbus.

How have I not left a review for this place?!!?! I live in the neighborhood and this is my go-to healthy lunch spot. I absolutely love Shawarma. It's like an independent food group in my diet. The staff is sweet, family owned and super delish. I'm a regular and highly recommend!

I think that this would have been a five star review if there was more than one worker when we went to get takeout. It was early evening on a Wednesday, before there was a dinner rush, but you would think there would be more than one worker. We felt bad for the guy that was working - he was taking orders inside, taking takeout orders and cooking all the food on his own. All that being said - he did a pretty darn good job! The three of us ordered the chicken shwarma and the feta fries. Everything was delicious- problem was we got curry chicken instead of the chicken shwarma and none of our pita pockets were toasted. We weren't that surprised because of the stress on one employee. The feta fries...OH MY WORD!! Yum! Thank goodness we only ordered one order for the three of us. It is big enough for a meal! We will definitely come back to the Pita House. Hopefully more people will be working :)

I called ahead to place my order however the guy said I still might have to walk when I came in. My order wasn't ready when I got there and waited about 10minutes for it. Employees were very pleasant and I didn't mind waiting. Our order was delicious and it was worth the wait!
